Izagbo Tells Umuodafe

Worried by incessant land disputes in the community, the Ibusa Community Development Union (ICDU) has finally broken the ice over the unending land disputes that trouble the communty. The pulse of Development Union was today felt through its leader, Dr. Austin Izagbo. The former Commissioner for Sports in the state advised the Umuodafe stakeholders to find solution to the vexed issue which now trouble the entire communty.
Excerpts of his statement published on the social media platform of the National Executive Council of Ibusa Communty Development Union read:
The Ibusa Community Development Union (ICDU) Worldwide has watched with concern, the ugly developments emanating from intra – community misunderstanding over land matters in Umuofafe, Ibusa which has degenerated to Petitions, fights, Court Cases and lately Detentions. We call on the good people of Umuofafe especially the Stake holders of the community to please address the issues at stake with the view of finding some lasting solutions to the vexed issues.
The Umuodafe Quarter has in recent times tendedt to frequently and violently become enmeshed in land disputes with the recent episode leading to the detention of a prominent culture custodian of the community.
