UMUWOR Youth made history in Ibusa as they successfully organised a *”ONE DAY SEMINAR”* themed *”RESTRUCTURING AND AWARENESS PROGRAM”*.

The seminar was well attended by over a thousand youths from Ibusa. The event was chaired by Pastor David Nwaosisi (Oshimili), while Hon UCHE Esenwa was the special Guest of honour. Ibusa youth president Comrade Ifeanyi ASIODU who was represented by Barr. Elikwu equally graced the occassion which was Coordinated by Mr Pat Adigwe while Mr Austin Ajufo was the guest speaker.

Speaking at the Event, Mr Austin Ajufo advices the youths to shun evil and imbibe the fear of God in them. He was full of praises for the Umuwor Theatre troop which show cased a dance drama highlighting the importance of having a true leader who loves and have the people at heart. He equally advices the youths to also think of acquiring skills which could be more helpful as the era of searching for white collar job is not yielding much result. Furthermore he highlighted the importance of having such gatherings while praising the Umuwor youths for such initiatives which is the first of its kind. He praised the leaders for organising such seminar with such large number of youths while encouraging them to do more.

Earlier in His Speech, the Chairman of the Occassion, Pastor David Nwaosisi who was shocked at the large turnout praised the efforts of the organisers while asking other Ogbe youths to emulate such gesture. In his words, he praised this initiative as it is no longer business as usual. He recalled that on the past, once a youth leadership emerge, the next they think of in Ibusa is *’ego d’osha”*

Bar Elikwu who was there on dual capacity equally presented a certificate of return to the new president *Comrade Ifeanyi Anthony Okolo* while he was immediately sworn in to lead the youths of Umuwor.

In his vote of thanks, Mr Pat Adigwe thanked the great numbers of personalities who turned out for the event even at short notice. He was full of thanks to the people who filled Ogbeowele hall.

Some side attractions that equally took place includes dance drama, musical performance by Ikechukwu Culture boys (Egwu Ijele) and many others. Some youths got scholarship to go learn any skills of their choice. Notable amongst those who promised to sponsor them are Hon UCHE Esenwa who promised to sponsor two while he also made a promise to get the Council to sponsor two. PRECYPAT equally took two to train in any skill they want. It was an event filled with joy as all those who came were entertained.

The event left a lasting mark as this will indeed be a template for new excos in Ibusa. It will be recalled that Umuwor is a sub Ogbe in Ogbeowele. Ogbeowele is divided into five sub Ogbes.
